Peggy Arbenz is the founder of Down Home Antiques and finder of the antiques and goods you see in our DH storefront and online shop. With husband, Don Arbenz, Peggy travels the country sourcing antiques, handmade goods and American-made treasures. 

 

Peggy shares the love of design and vintage goods with her three daughters, each expressing a unique sense of style creating the lifestyle brand that Down Home is today. 

 

Starting over 25 years ago in a small shop in Yorba Linda, California, with her own sisters, Down Home Antiques was created with a passion for early American furniture and primitive objects. Evolving through the years into larger spaces, traveling pop ups and an ever-growing online space, Down Home’s goal of curating spaces filled with warm traditions and cozy vibes remains.
